智慧網通系統研究所之主要業務：
研發具前瞻及關鍵性的資通訊技術，以協助廠商開發創新價值之資通訊產品與應用服務，進而開創新興產業，協助產業昇級。
藉著無線寬頻、智慧生活、能源資通訊、服務導向行動網路裝置、車載資通訊等關鍵技術研發，協助國內業者推出創新產品及服務，結合國內產業開拓國際藍海市場。


With the rapid development and the growing popularity of ICT technologies, people’s lives are going to move toward ubiquitous network society based on high quality of network infrastructure. Therefore Smart Network System Institute, Institute for Information Industry (SNSI/III) has integrated the core technologies in the fields of Broadband Wireless Technology, Sensor Networks, Intelligent Life, Energy ICT, Service Oriented Devices, Telematics, etc from the client perspectives to provide the next generation network environment and advancing infrastructure of intelligent life to achieve the goal of better quality intelligent lives.
